Simulation Methods for Building Energy Analysis contribute to know the energy behavior of buildings and describe its technical characteristics that are important to decrease the energy consumption and increase the quality. A methodology based on this type of analysis, making a selection of representative buildings, as well as defining different energy efficient strategies focused on the energy consumption has been carried out. EDEA-Renov project realizes several dwellings  energy simulation of the Santa Engracia neighborhood (Badajoz) and San Lázaro neighborhood (Mérida). The following document explains the schedules, installation temperatures and timetables, construction layers and characteristics, illumination profiles, etc. These profiles are used all the simulation programs in EDEA Renov project (Design Builder, Calener and CE3) in order to unify the models of the dwelling with the same criteria.  (PDF 3,72 Mb)

Also EDEAsim allows to the user to know: the amount of energy and CO2 savings of several construction and installations improvements, the economical investment, social impacts and environmental impacts.
